Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that Rana Mashhood’s party membership has been suspended owing to his controversial statement. “Shahbaz Sharif has removed Rana Mashhood after his controversial statement,” Aurangzeb said.
The PML-N spokesperson further said, “A three-member committee comprising Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Ayaz Sadiq and Rana Tanveer has been constituted to interrogate Mashhood regarding his statement.” The committee will submit a report in two weeks, Aurangzeb added.
Mashood said that the next two months are crucial as by-elections will be held in this time duration, adding that the incumbent government will be removed through court or by the people.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PML(N) leader Rana Mashood on Tuesday claimed that the next two months are going to be crucial and his party will form the government in Punjab. Talking to a private news channel, he claimed that the relations between the establishment and the PML(N) are good again because of the efforts of Shahbaz Sharif, the PML-N leader.
“Everyone knows how Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was given a majority in the Punjab Assembly.” He claimed that the promises made with the independent candidates were not fulfilled; therefore, they are being shamed in their constituencies.

Without mentioning anyone’s name, Mashood said, “Now they have understood PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif was a better choice. The party who won the 2018 general elections was considered as a horse but it emerged as a donkey.” The PML-N leaders, however, categorically denied reports of any deal between the institutions and PML-N.
Mashood claimed that the establishment has the guilt of not making Shahbaz Sharif the Prime Minister of the country. Mashood said that the next two months are crucial as by-elections will be held in this time duration, adding that the incumbent government will be removed through court or by the people.

Mashhood categorically denied reports of a deal between the PML-N and institutions, stating that conversations had taken place between the party and officials in institutions through which it was discovered that there was a growing sentiment of PTI not being able to deliver. “We are even against the word deal and have always had a principled stance against deals,” he asserted.
