Mayhem is reported at Sukkur isolation center after Shia pilgrims in quarantine broke the doors to protest against the Sindh government. A large number of Shia pilgrims in quarantine at Sukkur isolation center came out from their designated wards after miscreants incited them.
The Shia pilgrims tested positive for the coronavirus rushed to the open area of the isolation center to expresses their agitation. These coronavirus patients are currently on the ground and mixing up with the healthy but suspected coronavirus patients spiking the chances of other people contracting the disease.

The protestors are counted in 100 and according to initial reports, are attempting to flee the premises. Videos emerging on social media showed the Shia pilgrims refused the calls of the administration to get back into the quarantine rooms.
However, after much resistance, Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police were able to control the situation. They have currently surrounded the building so that none of the suspected coronavirus patients escape the building.

Reportedly, the chaos resulted after some volunteers wanted to serve food to the pilgrims but they were barred from the administration. The pilgrims were then incited by a Whatsapp message.

On the other hand, Sindh Government has expressed ire on people debunking the strict warnings of the people to self-isolate for the next three days and avoid unnecessary public engagements.
However, ignoring all the calls of social distancing, self-isolation and to remain at homes from the Sindh government, a lot of people were spotted on the roads of Karachi.

PPP Senator and Advisor to CM Sindh, Murtaza Wahab, regretted the non-cooperation of the citizens during these challenging times.
Last night, CM Sindh had issued a strict advisory but citizens are reluctant to follow precautionary guidelines to protect themselves from coronavirus. Sindh is already under partial lockdown.

The provincial government has ordered temporary close malls, public places, markets, restaurants, and food outlets to control the spread of coronavirus.
