Indus Motor Company (IMC) has launched the Toyota Smart Purchase Portal in Pakistan. The new “end-to-end” venture is the first of its kind in the country.
According to reports, the new portal facilities will allow customers to make direct online purchases of any vehicle in Toyota IMC’s lineup and will be available countrywide.
Reports suggest that the said portal is a “first-ever end-to-end” online booking and payment system to be introduced in the Pakistani automotive industry
The aim of this new and innovative platform is to provide customers the utmost convenience; hence it will be an entirely different shopping experience.

Should this venture be successful, customers won’t have to physically go to the car dealerships anymore as all options will be made available online. All they have to do is select the nearest dealership listed on the online platform. They can then choose their desired car from a wide variety provided by IMC. After the online payment, the car will be delivered to their doorstep.
Ali Asghar Jamali, the CEO of IMC, has said to media outlets “The one-stop Toyota Smart Purchase promises to take shopping to a whole new level. Customers now have the luxury of shopping for their favorite Toyota from the safety and comfort of their homes or workplaces, placing their order in four easy steps.”

“Keeping customers’ convenience foremost is fundamental to Toyota’s Customer First principle. The COVID-19 outbreak has completely altered the way we think and creating the new normal through kaizen, and smart use of technology is the need of the hour.” Jamali added.
In light of the pandemic, the effort by IMC has been widely appreciated. The Toyota Smart Purchase Portal launch in Pakistan has been met with enthusiasm from the public. The company has already received several orders, both with partial and full payments.
The Toyota Smart Purchase can be the first step towards the complete digitization of the automobile industry in Pakistan. It seems as if the automobile sector is finally witnessing a revival. Recently, new and improved cars have also been launched in Pakistan.
