Changan Pakistan has been teasing something new coming from the company. On 16th April, the company updated the Facebook official cover with “Future, Forward, Forever’ written on it.
The same day, the company uploaded a picture with words, “ The Future is more than pipedreams & buzzword.” This picture is on the Facebook page along with the caption, “… We are talking about a future that’s tangible, a future that we can bring to Pakistan.”
The company says that they want to move on beyond the experiment stage. In the latest post, they talked about the Forward, saying that forward is “a state of mind.” The company captioned it saying that they believe in implementing in the literal sense.
They questioned the audience with the question, “Guess what our next push forward will bring for Pakistani roads?”
This all points to something new coming from the company. The guesses on social media based on the past few days point to 3 new cars, The SUV UNI-T, the SUV Oshan X7, and the F70 pickup truck.

Social media over the last week has spotted these vehicles on Karachi roads, doing testing. According to Pakwheels, the Chinese Automobile company, Changan Pakistan has imported CBUs for 3 SUVs to be tested on the Pakistani roads.
Even though the exact features and further details are still not available, here are some important ones.
UNI-T
The Chinese SUV has a 1500cc turbocharged engine, with an output of 180hp and 300Nm torque. This comes with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
The exterior comes with a distinctive wide front grille and slim front lights. The car is fitted with 19-inch alloy tires. The car has double exhausts, spoiler, slim fog lamps, polygonal back lamps, and a skid plate at the rear.
SUV comes with airbags at Driver/Passenger, Front/Side Rear Side, and Front/Rear Curtains positions. Moreover, the safety features are ABS and EBD, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, Hill Descent Control, Blind Spot Assist, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
The Interior has a 10.5-inch infotainment system with a simple overall layout. Both driver and passenger seats have electric adjustment features, among many distinct features.
Oshan X7
The body size measures 4700/1860/1690mm and a wheelbase of 2780mm. It is a compact SUV that is lower than its other competitors. The roof of the Oshan X7 has a relatively straight-line design, and the car is equipped with a 20-inch wheel.
The car will come with a 1500cc turbocharged engine, with an output of 178hp and 265Nm torque. It will have 4WD and AWD variants expected in the country.
The car’s interior will come with a multifunction steering wheel and power windows. The driver and passenger seats are ventilated, heated, and electrically adjustable.
Other luxury-like features are LCD Instrument Panel with Navigation and Bluetooth. X7 also has Immobilizer, Keyless engine start, central lock, and electric trunk options.
On the safety front, the car comes with driver, passenger, front, rear and side airbags. Other features similar to Uni-T include ABS + EBD, brake assist, panoramic camera, traction control, and hill start assist.

It is worth mentioning that these features are not revealed by Changan Pakistan, and are presented based on the international specifications offered in the same models by Changan.
