Part two of Imran Khan’s audio on US cipher leaked

The latest audio clip features Imran Khan and top PTI leaders Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, along with Azam Khan.

Part two of PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s purported audio clip has been released, just days after the first part was released where Imran Khan can be heard telling his then-principal secretary Azam Khan to “play” with the US cipher.

The latest audio clip features Imran Khan and top PTI leaders Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, along with Azam Khan.

In the alleged audio, the former prime minister can be heard saying: “Shah jee (Shah Mehmood Qureshi), we have to hold the meeting tomorrow, the three of us and the foreign secretary.”

“We don’t have to name the Americans […] under no circumstances do we have to take the name. So on this issue please, the name of the country should not come out of anyone. This is very important for all of you,” Imran Khan allegedly says.

Moreover, the dates on which the cipher arrived were also discussed. Interestingly, the voice allegedly belonging to Asad Umar asks Imran Khan whether he is intentionally calling the minutes of the meeting as a “letter”.

“Are you intentionally calling it a letter? Because this isn’t a letter, it is a transcript of the meeting,” Asad Umar allegedly said, to which Imran Khan responded by saying its the same thing.

Needless to say, Pakistani social media is in a frenzy with the latest audio leak, however, it is being claimed that the subtitles were tampered with to twist the meaning.

Imran Khan’s first audio leak

In the first audio conversation, Imran Khan and his then principal secretary Azam Khan could be heard discussing the US cipher, which the PTI chief claimed led to the ouster of the previous government. Imran Khan allegedly tells Azam Khan to “play” with the US cipher narrative.

“We can’t take the name of America. So let’s just play with it. We will say that the date was already there,” Imran Khan allegedly said to Azam Khan.

Pertinent to mention that the cipher, based on then-envoy Asad Majeed’s meeting with State Department official Donald Lu, is at the center of PTI’s claim that the US conspired with elements within Pakistan to dislodge Imran Khan from office.

The audios are going viral on social media and critics of Imran Khan are claiming that the former premier has been exposed and the US regime change narrative was a conspiracy by PTI itself.
