A video has emerged on social media showing a brave polio worker walking through heaps of snow im snowfall in Qila Saifullah in Balochistan on his way to duty.
The video is making rounds on social media and garnering massive appreciation from netizens. A Polio worker is seen crossing snow in the snowfall. Netizens are praising the polio worker for his courage and determination to eradicate polio from Pakistan. Social media users said the extremely harsh and cold temperatures did not break his resolve to vaccinate the children from polio drops. He is the real hero of Pakistan and deserves appreciation from the government and dignitaries.
Pakistan has set the ambition of eradicating polio in the country. Senior anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan shared the video on his Twitter account. Associated Press of Pakistan also share the video and wrote in the caption: “Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations Salute to our polio workers for braving extreme weather conditions and going the extra mile to protect millions of children against the crippling virus Your support will help them get the job done #SalamPolioWorker.”

Lawn and order and security threat is the major impediment to eradicating polio from Pakistan. Several incidents of polio teams being attacked by miscreants have happened in Pakistan. Many of them have even lost their lives in these terrorist attacks. Hence, when these polio workers brave challenges while performing their duties, garner massive attention and appreciation from people.

Back in 2021, a video of polio workers walking along the waist-deep snow to vaccinate children went viral. The video was shared by the Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative on Twitter.
The viral video shows two female polio workers walking across the waist-deep snow in Azad Kashmir to vaccinate children in far-flung villages. “Our frontline polio heroes are unstoppable. As extreme cold weather blankets Azad Jammu & Kashmir, these brave women make their way through several feet of snow to deliver vaccines to children during the ongoing #endpolio campaign. #SalamPolioWorker,” said the Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative on Twitter.
