Composer Adnan Sami was the latest target of the cyber attack shortly after India’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was hacked by the Turkish ‘cyber army’.

The Turkish hacker changed the singer’s profile display with a picture of  Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Pakistani and Turkish flags in the background. Sami’s Twitter bio was replaced with the text: “Ayyıldız Tim Love Pakistan.”

The hacking attempt was made in retaliation of Adnan Sami snubbing Pakistan in favour of India on several occasions. The hacker tweeted “whoever shows the courage to betrayal (of) our brother country Pakistan know that you will see Pakistan’s prime ministers photo and Pakistan flag as a profile picture.”

The hackers also stated that “the truth has invisible armies”. In the past, Adnan Sami was immensely trolled for making anti-Pakistan tweets during the recent India-Pakistan escalation in Jammu and Kashmir.

The trolls from Pakistan had called him an undercover agent of Pakistan’s spy agency ISI placed in India. He was ironically given the title of Major Adnan Sami by social media trolls. Sami, now an Indian citizen, cheered the Indian government and Indian Air Forces for their alleged Balakot surgical strike.

Twitter Reactions

The army of trolls came to life again soon after his Twitter account was hacked and the bio changed to: ‘Love Pakistan’.

People on Pakistani Twitter gave priceless reactions while American comedian, Jeremy Mclellan, shared the screenshot of the hacked account with a caption hilariously stating: ‘Major Adnan Sami showing his true colors’.
