Young pilot from Peshawar dies in crash

In a similar incident, a pilot from Peshawar died in a gyrocopter crash nearly three days ago.

The officials said the licensed pilot, Qazi Ajmal, took off from Karachi. However, his gyrocopter crashed in the Awaran district, leaving him dead on the spot three days ago.

According to Balochistan Wildlife Department official Amanullah Sajidi, Ajmal’s tiny aircraft crashed into the mountains near the coastal area of the province.

Meanwhile, Qazi’s family claimed that he went to Balochistan to participate in a festival for ten days. However, he received a phone call while in Hingol National Park asking him to leave the area immediately “as an attack on him could take place anytime”.

Therefore, he left in his aircraft at night. His family while demanding an investigation into the incident said Ajmal was compelled to fly at night time which caused the crash.

The family said they received the body of the pilot on Sunday morning.
