Atif Aslam bestowed with his own star at Dubai’s Walk Of Fame

The celebrated singer Atif Aslam becomes the first Pakistani to win his very own star at the Dubai Walk of Fame. He was recognized for his remarkable career in the music industry in both India and Pakistan.

Popular singer Atif Aslam has been bestowed with Dubai’s Walk of Fame ‘Dubai Star’ for his exceptional work.

The singer attended the opening ceremony of The Dubai Stars which aim to “honour personalities who delivered the exceptional in their respective field of work.”

The acclaimed singer has a remarkable record of singing, with overwhelming popularity across the globe including Pakistan, India, and Dubai.

The platform also acknowledged his glorious career in the music industry in a statement calling him “one of the best singers in Pakistan. The statement further added that he “was honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan. Best known for his powerful vocal belting technique.”

Atif Aslam at the press conference for The Dubai Stars shared, “Music has always connected people and my music has always connected… people talk about their breakups, their make-ups or whatever but then again they have been with there me throughout my journey and I’d like to thank all of you for that.”

Atif went on to say, “On this platform I see a lot of collaborations happening here because I was so looking forward to meeting all these celebrities. I want to work in the field of music. I want to collaborate with them get to know their culture, know about how beautiful they are.”

Attending the ceremony, the 36-year old actor added that, “It’s a very vibrant city. This is the only city I think I really enjoy myself walking on the streets.

In his speech at the ceremony, Atif mentioned his vast working experience in Dubai with international musicians. Adding that “I have played for 150,000 people here, so it has a lot of goodwill. We, South Asians, especially Pakistanis and Indians – we’re everywhere, but this is one place where we are a lot. So I love the fact that my music is heard over here.”

Imitating the Hollywood Walk of Life in California, the Dubai Downtown Walk of Fame has already honoured Asian celebrities like Elie Saab, Jackie Chan, Shahrukh Khan, and Ranveer Singh. Atif Aslam is the first Pakistani to receive his star in the Dubai Walk of Fame.
