The social unrest within Afghan society, economic issues, lack of inclusiveness and poor administrative system are some of the major areas of concern for the Taliban regime.

Political parties, propaganda, media participation, public opinion, differences of opinion, individual and collective freedom and universal suffrage are some of the unique features of the nowadays democratic system. 

Amid the withdrawal of U.S. and NATO forces from Afghanistan, and the Taliban takeover of power in August 2021, a large number of Afghan refugees crossed the Pakistani border. Between January 2021 and February 2022,

Pakistan had sent a secret delegation to Afghanistan to hold talks with the TPP earlier in January. The effort to revive the negotiations is in light of the TTP’s intensifying assaults against the Pakistani security force.

Last year, the Taliban fighters in Afghanistan took over Kabul as a result, Ashraf Ghani, the then president of Afghanistan fled from the country. Today, the Taliban has completed one year of its reign.

The well-committed and highly professional stance towards both traditional and Non-traditional issues of the armed forces of Pakistan, shows discipline, a sense of responsibility and dutifulness within the institution.

Pakistan is located in a region that is constantly impacted by the rivalries of regional and major powers such as China and India border disputes, the China-US trade war and Russia and the US political tensions, etc.

Pakistan is enjoying the upper hand over terrorists as they were successfully outdrawn from the country, therefore Pakistan can gain maximum form these peace talks and can get a permanent settlement of TTP’s threat.
