Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned unabated Indian state-terrorism and extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters and so-called cordon-and-search operations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Four more young Kashmiris were martyred in Kulgam and Pulwama districts yesterday,’ says the Foreign Office. As a result, Pakistan has slammed India’s relentless state terrorism and extra-judicial killings of innocent people in fake “encounters” and so-called “cordon-and-search” operations conducted in India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement from the Foreign Office on Sunday, over three hundred Kashmiris, including women and children, have been martyred by the Indian occupation forces during the last one year. “Four more young Kashmiris were martyred in Kulgam and Pulwama districts in IOJK yesterday. A 14-year old boy was seriously injured in the illegal and inhuman military crackdown,” claimed the spokesperson for the foreign office.
“India must realise that use of brutal force against the Kashmiri people, including extra-judicial killings, custodial torture and deaths, forced disappearances, incarceration of Kashmiri leadership and youth, use of pellet guns, destruction of houses to inflict collective punishment on the Kashmiri communities, and other methods of subjugation have failed in the past and will not succeed in the future”, the statement said.
“The indigenous resistance movement of the Kashmiris for their inalienable right to self-determination, as enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions, will only become stronger in the face of Indian state-terrorism,” the Foreign Office said. The Foreign Office called upon the international community to take full cognizance of the consistently aggravating situation in IOJK and to hold India accountable for egregious human rights violations and war crimes in the occupied Kashmiri territory.
Pakistan also urged the world community to work towards a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people for durable peace and stability of the region.

“Pakistan calls upon the international community, including the United Nations, human rights organizations and the global media, to take full cognizance of the consistently aggravating situation in IIOJK and hold India accountable for egregious human rights violations and war crimes in the occupied territory,” he said.
He also urged the world community to work for peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UNSC Resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people for durable peace and stability of the region.
Pakistan lashes India for ‘state terrorism’ in Kashmir
Just last month, Pakistan lashed out at India for its state terrorism in Kashmir. Pakistan urged the international community to prosecute Indian civil and military personnel for “the worst form of state terrorism and serious crimes against humanity” in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
“Since 1990, India’s occupation army has martyred over 100,000 Kashmiris, widowed 22,000 women, orphaned 108,000 children and raped more than 11,000 women,” Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in a statement on the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, marked globally on August 21.
Qureshi condemned India for the “imprisonment of political leaders; the abduction and torture of 13,000 Kashmiri youth; brutal force against peaceful protestors; collective punishments and extra-judicial killings.”

Over the past two decades, he said, more than 70,000 lives have been lost in terrorist attacks in Pakistan and the economic cost to the country has been over $120 billion.
“Despite these losses, our resolve to fight terrorism remains unwavering. Pakistan stands with the international community to eliminate the menace of terrorism. We reiterate our commitment to take joint actions to extend all support to those who have been the victims of terrorism,” the minister concluded.
