I read Quran cover to cover in Ramadan: Actor Will Smith reveals

Smith opened up, stating, "The last two years of my life have been a difficult time and my intention turned inward and I read all the holy books, I've read the Quran cover to cover during Ramazan this year. This is the spiritual seeking phase of my life."

In a recent podcast interview with Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb on the Big Time Podcast, Hollywood actor Will Smith shared profound insights into his spiritual journey, emphasizing his deep affinity for the Quran and its profound impact on his life.

Smith revealed, “The past two years have been challenging for me, prompting a turning inward where I delved into spiritual exploration. I immersed myself in reading various holy texts, including covering the Quran from start to finish during Ramazan this year. This marks a significant phase of spiritual seeking in my life.”

Expressing astonishment, Smith noted, “I was struck by the frequency of Moses’s mention throughout the Quran, and I found a personal connection to his experiences.” He went on to praise the Quran’s simplicity, describing it as “crystal clear” and asserting, “Its message is beautifully and unequivocally conveyed, leaving little room for misinterpretation.”

The actor shared his journey of exploring literature from Abrahamic religions and was fascinated by the consistent narrative thread running through them. His candid discussion on spirituality has resonated widely online, earning praise for his openness on such matters.
