Imran Khan claims power show at Minar-e-Pakistan will break all records

Imran Khan's previous public gatherings have been attended by thousands, however, he believes that PTI's sixth power show at Minar-e-Pakistan will break all records.

PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready for the PTI power show scheduled for today at Minar-e-Pakistan, claiming it will break all records.

Taking to Twitter, Imran Khan urged the public in Lahore to join the PTI rally at Minar-e-Pakistan. Imran Khan also warned that the government will put obstacles in order to prevent the people from attending the rally, however, he reminded that it is the people’s right to attend political gatherings.

“Tonight will be our 6th jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan and my heart tells me it will break all records. I am inviting everyone in Lahore to attend after Tarawih prayers. I will give my vision of Haqeeqi Azadi and how we will pull Pakistan out of the mess cabal of crooks have put our country in,” Imran Khan said.

“They will put all sorts of hurdles to prevent people from attending, but I want to remind our people that it is their fundamental right to attend a political gathering. Everyone must assert their right as people of a free nation that won its independence and come to Minar-e-Pakistan,” he former premier further added.

PTI initially had earlier changed the date of its Minar-e-Pakistan power show and decided to organize the public meeting on March 25 instead of 22. The Lahore district administration has granted permission to PTI to hold the rally between the night of the 25th and March 26. The PTI rally will begin at 10 pm on March 25 and will conclude at 3 am on March 26.

However, despite giving permission for the rally, the latest reports state that the Punjab government has mounted containers in several parts of Lahore, apparently to stop leaders and workers of PTI from joining the party’s much-touted power show in the provincial capital.

Nevertheless, Imran Khan still believes that PTI’s sixth power show at Minar-e-Pakistan will break all records. All his previous public gatherings have been attended by thousands, proving that Imran Khan is indeed the most popular political leader in Pakistan.
