India might stage false flag operation to create diversion: PM Khan

News Desk |

Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Friday, warned the global community of the possibility of a “false flag operation” staged by the Modi Administration in a bid to “divert attention from massive human rights violations” in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Prime Minister Imran Khan stated, “We are hearing Indian media claims that some terrorists from Afghanistan have entered IOJK for terrorist activities, while others have entered India’s southern regions.”

The premier observed, “These claims are predictable to divert attention from India’s ethnic cleansing & genocide agenda in IOJK.”

Another False Flag Operation

Prime Minister Imran Khan alerted the international community of a possible false flag attack being planned by the Modi-led Indian government.

Prime Minister commented, “I want to warn the international community that the Indian leadership will in all probability attempt a false flag operation to divert attention from its massive human rights violations & the unleashing of a reign of terror in IOJK.”

The Premier had voiced his concerns over India’s agendas to undertake another deceptive false flag operation in Indian-occupied Kashmir repetitively. Speaking to the New York Times in an exclusive interview, Imran Khan had noted that India is likely to stage a false flag attack to justify launching military action against Pakistan.

The premier noted that in such an event, Pakistan would be forced to respond with its military might. He added, “And then you are looking at two nuclear-armed countries eyeball to eyeball, and anything can happen.”

Pakistan-based terrorists in Indian-occupied Kashmir, claiming that these terrorists are targeting schools, government buildings and personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

He continued, “My worry is that this can escalate and for two nuclear-armed countries, it should be alarming for the world what we are facing now.” Reports reveal that officials from the Indian government have rejected these warnings, accusing Pakistan of using the threat of a nuclear confrontation to urge the international community to intervene and mediate between Pakistan and India.

Indian Media Propaganda

Reports emanating from India allege that Pakistan is training “Afghan terrorists” to carry out attacks across Indian occupied Kashmir. A report by India Today cited intelligence reports that claim that Pakistan is deploying Afghan terrorists to “infiltrate Kashmir from terror launch pads in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (AJK).”

The report stated, “According to the inputs, Pakistan has escalated operations to create panic by means of carrying out terror strikes. This comes after the abrogation of Article 370.”

The newspaper cited “another set of inputs” from intelligence sources, and claimed that Pakistan is preparing “many Afghan terrorists” to carry out terror activities in India’s capital, New Delhi.

The report read, “Another set of inputs suggest that many Afghan terrorists are being prepared by Pakistan for carrying out terror activities in national capital New Delhi. The inputs also suggest that security forces in Kashmir may also be targeted.”

It further added, “Political figures in Kashmir might also be targeted by these Afghan terrorists, the inputs suggested.” The India media reports cited a report by the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India’s premier intelligence agency, alleging that Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) is behind these efforts, and is undertaking a plan to “target security forces in Jammu & Kashmir.”

The report by RAW stated that on 19th August, the meeting was chaired by Rauf Asghar, the brother of JeM Chief, Masood Azhar, who India claims is now the “commander of JeM’s armed wing”. The report stated that this meeting was held at the Markaz Usman-o-Ali, in Bahawalpur.

The report claimed to provide inputs on possible terror attacks staged by “Pakistan-based terrorists” in Indian-occupied Kashmir, claiming that these terrorists are “targeting schools, government buildings and personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.”

Earlier this month, India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, had alarmed politicians across Pakistan with a veiled nuclear threat by hinting that India might move away from its “no first use” nuclear policy, devised under former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Tweeting from his account, Rajnath Singh had said that in the future, India might reconsider its stance on the “no first use” policy, depending upon the circumstances.

Responding to the comments made by the Indian Defence Minister, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned India’s irresponsible attitude, and its unilateral actions that risk the peace and stability of the region.

Dr. Faisal apprised the press of Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s response, saying, “Foreign Minister Qureshi said that these were reflective of the predicament that India finds itself in, after its illegal and unilateral actions imperiling peace and security in the region and beyond.”
