India, Pakistan conflict ‘none of our business’: JD Vance

"U.S. Vice President JD Vance distances America from India-Pakistan conflict, calling it 'none of our business'. Meanwhile, Pakistan claims to have downed 25 Indian-operated Israeli-made drones amid escalating tensions."

The ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan is none of our business, says the US Vice President JD Vance in his latest interview with FOX News.

When asked about the role of the United States in mediating and de-escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, JD Vance called it “fundamentally none of our business.”

He said that the US has talked to both countries and has tried to convince them to ease tensions, but it does not have the authority or responsibility to force either country to lay down their arms or halt military operations.

“We’re not going to get involved in the middle of a war that has nothing to do with America’s ability to control it,” he said.

“What we can do is try to encourage these folks to de-escalate a little bit, but we’re not going to get involved in the middle of a war that’s fundamentally none of our business and has nothing to do with America’s ability to control it,” Vance said during the interview.

“Our hope and we expect that this is not going to spiral into a broader regional war or, God forbid, a nuclear conflict,” Vance said. “Right now, we don’t think that will happen.”

Meanwhile, India repeatedly claims it has hit terrorists’ hideouts in Pakistan and claims to have killed more than 100 terrorists in its attacks on Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has claimed to have downed 25 Israeli-made Harop drones on Thursday, informs the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

The military media wing said that drones were shot down using both electronic countermeasures (soft-kill techniques) and conventional weaponry (hard-kill systems) after they were detected over multiple areas across Pakistan.

“The Pakistan Armed Forces are responding decisively to all hostile actions and continue to thwart enemy intentions,” the statement read.

According to ISPR, the debris of Israeli-owned drones is being recovered from various cities in Pakistan. As many as 12 cities were targeted with Indian drones on Thursday morning.
