According to the reports, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, is unhappy with the success of Aseefa Bhutto Zardari at her maiden political rally in Multan.
The producer at ARY News, Adeel Raja says that according to sources Maryam Nawaz is purportedly unhappy with the extensive media coverage by Geo News of Aseefa’s first political rally in Multan. Raja shared a video of Maryam Nawaz from the social media convention on Sunday in Lahore.
Raja said that Maryam expressed her anguish on the coverage of Aseefa in her speech yesterday.
Maryam said that these days Geo News is heavily reporting against PML-N which implied that perhaps the channel is ignoring them. She added that perhaps Geo News is forced to report against PML-N.

“According to sources, Maryam Nawaz is angry over the full coverage of Aseefa Bhutto on Geo TV and also confirmed this in her speech,” wrote Raja in his tweet.
Meanwhile, senior anchorperson Fereeha Idrees also reported regarding the reservation of Maryam Nawaz on the successful political rally of Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari.
Idress said that the senior leadership is happy with the impressive conduct and speech of Aseefa Bhutto in the rally.
“Insider tells me that @AAliZardari and all the other seniors have been extremely happy by the speech and conduct of Asifa Bhutto. Her acceptability with the crowd was apparent. In Punjab, however,@MediaCellPPP holds a voter base but that needs serious effort to reactivate it,” wrote Idress in a tweet.

Daughters of former prime ministers become social media’s top trends
Earlier this month, the daughters of two of the former prime ministers, Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, trended atop on social media after the pair led a Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally in Multan on November 30.
Maryam represented PML-N while Aseefa replaced coronavirus-infected PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto, at the rally. This also marked her maiden entry into mainstream politics. The social media remained abuzz with videos and images of female leadership addressing and interacting with the charged-up crowd at various points.
Several users likened Aseefa to her mother, Benazir Bhutto, who lost her life in a terrorist attack in Rawalpindi in 2007.
Nawaz played out a bizarre stunt of standing on the car roof, being surrounded by the protestors, has been attracting unusual attention on Twitter. Meanwhile, Aseefa was spotted instructing the protestors to wear the mask as per coronavirus SOPs.
While Nawaz is developing a feat to pull the crowd at the political rallies, Aseefa also did a fair job in engaging with the protestors. The internet users, commentators, and analysts closely watched Aseefa, taking on the political legacy of her mother, Benazir Bhutto, ahead. She received a warm welcome from the protestors and attendees of the rally.
Not Maryam but this time, Aseefa was among the top social media trends. PDM rally in Multan against the current government was significant for many reasons but the presence of Maryam and Aseefa cranked up its importance. Moreover, the social media even discussed that with the success of Aseefa Bhutto in Multan, is it time for Bilawal Bhutto to retire and let his sister lead the party.
