Pakistani netizens are praying for the health of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil after news of his heart attack came to the fore.
The civic society along with political leaders and the journalistic fraternity is praying for Maulana Tariq Jamil’s health and wishing him a quick recovery.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has prayed for the early recovery of famous religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil.

In his message issued here on Tuesday, the chief minister expressed his good wishes for early recovery of his health. May Allah Almighty give him complete health, he prayed.

Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil was admitted to a hospital after suffering from a heart attack in Canada. Yousaf Jamil – son of the renowned religious scholar – confirmed the development, saying that his father had suffered a heart attack in Toronto.
He requested Jamil’s fans and followers to pray for the scholar’s speedy recovery. “May Allah Almighty bless my father with perfect health,” Yousaf added.
In a separate video statement, Maulana Tariq Jamil’s son explained that his father experienced pains in his chest at around 1 pm local time (3am in Canada) and was subsequently shifted to the hospital. He also requested social media users to refrain from spreading rumors regarding his father’s health.

Pertinent to mention that Maulana Tariq Jamil’s doctors confirmed that he is stable after he suffered a heart attack. Updating about the health status of Maulana Tariq Jameel, his doctor said, the religious scholar has been shifted to CCU after a heart procedure.
Maulana Tariq Jamil arrived in Canada last week to attend an event organized by IslamicRelief Canada — an international charity. According to the organization, the scholar was scheduled to deliver a sermon on Dec 21 and Dec 26.
