Overseas PTI activists get attacked by PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s guards during a conversation with Junaid Safdar, the grandson of the former premier.
Since PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz is in London these days, Overseas PTI protestors have been holding continuous protests against the Sharif family in front of Nawaz Sharif’s residence.
In the recent incident, Overseas PTI activist Shayan Ali, along with his fellow protestors and activists, was in a conversation with Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar when Nawaz Sharif’s security guards attacked him.

Videos of the incident are going viral on social media. In the video, Junaid Safdar and Shayan Ali can be seen talking peacefully.
“Protest, by all means, protesting is your right but keep it peaceful and respectful,” Junaid Safdar said. At that moment, Nawaz Sharif’s guards rushed to the scene and roughly pushed away Shayan Ali, including a female protestor.

Twitter divided over Junaid Safdar’s reaction
Interestingly, Twitter is divided over how Junaid Safdar handled the situation. On one hand, he is winning praise for his “soft diplomacy” where he holds a peaceful conversation with the PTI activists and is respectful of their protest.
On the other hand, Junaid Safdar is also getting criticized for not doing anything when Shayan Ali gets manhandled by Nawaz Sharif’s guards. In the video, Junaid Safdar can be seen watching Nawaz Sharif’s guards attack the PTI activists instead of asking them to stand down.
This is not the first time that Overseas PTI protestors have been attacked by Nawaz Sharif’s security guards. Nawaz Sharif – who has been living in London since 2019 – has been facing a tough time from Overseas PTI activists who continue to protest against him.

A group of PTI activists is often present outside his London office and residence that chants slogans and holds protests against Nawaz Sharif. As a result, a scuffle often breaks out between Nawaz Sharif’s guards and PTI activists.
