Resolution in appreciation of PM Khan passed in American state of Georgia

A resolution of appreciation has been passed in the American state of Georgia in the favour of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The resolution was presented by 2 senators and 6 representatives of the assembly.

The resolution acknowledged that Prime Minister Imran Khan is rightfully endeavoring to establish and strengthen the cordial relations with the neighboring countries. It also stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been working effectively towards creating intercultural and interfaith harmony in Pakistan.

Keeping in view his struggle, the resolution remarked that Imran Khan has sincerely served the country through his talent and energy throughout his life. He is now striving hard and sacrificing his life to serve the downtrodden section of the society ever since he has assumed the office.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has been named among the Time magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People’ list of 2019.

Hailing the charismatic leadership skills of the Prime Minister, journalist Ahmed Rashid wrote “Pakistan is at a critical crossroads, and the man in charge is the closest it has to a rock star,” about PM Khan in the article of the magazine.

“Driven by fierce ambition, he can be cold and calculating. But he still generates the broadest hope among young and old that he can turn Pakistan around, and help make South Asia an ocean of peace…,” the article further read.

Last year Prime Minister Imran Khan was included in the list of World’s top 50 influential Muslim leaders 2019. Khan had bagged 29th position.

On August 22nd, 2018, Imran Khan has sworn in as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan after a struggle of 22 years. He founded PTI in 1996 hoping to oust the ‘political mafias’ ruling Pakistan. In 2013, the party emerged as the second largest popular party before eventually winning the 2018 elections.
