Americans are in habit of creating an enemy and then launch a media campaign to defame and distort the enemy image. The bais and partial media in the Western world are used as a tool to build a narrative serving American purposes. The Western media is an expert in spreading fake news and fabricated stories. Through media, once they smooth the public opinion, they use hardcore military might. The same was exercised in the Iraq war, Libya war, Syria war, and so on. The Afghan war is also no a much different experience.
In a matter of fact, after the disintegration of the former USSR, American created a new enemy – Muslim World. Muslim World is blessed with energy resources and rich in Oil and Gas. Americans were keeping their greedy eyes on the oil-rich Muslim world and launched a campaign to loot their wealth by any means. Where is Iraqi wealth, Libyan wealth, Gulf wealth, etc. ? Who is the beneficiary of wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and middle-east?

US’s appalling ambitions
Making a lame excuse of staged drama “9/11” the US invaded Afghanistan in 2001. Instead of investigating the 9/11 incident, the Americans blamed Muslims immediately without any evidence, especially there is no concrete evidence of Afghan involvement in this incident. But the US has attacked Afghanistan with the following objectives:
- Defense of Israel
- Keeping a close eye on Iran.
- Direct Control of Strategic Global Resources – Afghanistan is rich in minerals.
- Destruction of Political Islam.
- De-Nuclearization of Pakistan: leading to the defense of Israel.
- Encirclement of Russia, and Central Asia.
- Containment of China.
- Control of global Trading Routes & Sea Lanes.
After pushing out the Taliban, the Americans celebrated and termed Afghanistan as the “Heart of Asia”. They believed it was their victory and will achieve all of their objectives.

The heavy price of the Afghan war
What happened on the ground, was quite contrary, the US spends trillions of dollars, and lost the precious lives of their soldiers in thousands, and injured in many more. The trauma and psychic patients were outnumbered. They involve 46 countries as their allies and used up to 150,000 troops at peak, but could not sustain their control.
The American economy could not sustain the heavy expenditures of the Afghan war. The public in America was asking for accountability for their tax money. There were times which such pressures become unbearable. Finally, President Trump concluded that the Afghan war is unwinnable and the US must withdraw its troops, the sooner the better.
Saigon-Plus happened on 15 August 2021. The superpowers have to run on helicopters and save their lives, when the Taliban recaptured Kabul at a driving speed, without any resistance. Taliban has not fired a single bullet, not killed, injured, or arrested a single person. It was so smooth and peaceful that it setups precedence in the known history of humankind. It was much smoother than the transition of presidents in Washington.

US humiliating defeat in front of the world
Man proposes, and Allah (God) disposes. Americans could not achieve any of their objectives, except humiliation and desperation. They lost credibility and reputation, in addition to heavy economic losses. It will take decades for Americans to come out of Trauma, and shock. They will not dare to counter Russia, contain China, threaten Iran, face North Korea, and so on. After decades, if they start to revive, the geopolitics must have been changed completely. At least, China must have reached a stage, where the US could never touch it.
Saigon-Plus will have a much more severe impact on Americans. Their leadership has been challenged, the status of superpower has been questioned, their allies are disgruntled with them, and they might face much more serious issues at home.

It was noticed that during the last few decades, since they became the unique superpower after the disintegration of the former USSR in the unipolar world, “Proud and Arrogant”. Allah like humbleness and kindness is proud and arrogant may not seek the blessings of Allah. It is time for American Scholars, researchers, think tanks, politicians, thinkers, and leadership, to re-evaluate and re-assess their mistakes and spend more time to rectify, before embarking on other countries.
