Turkey selects Imran Abbas as goodwill ambassador for humanitarian campaign

Pakistani actor Imran Abbas becomes a goodwill ambassador by Turkey from Pakistan and will accompany Turkish actors on a humanitarian campaign in African countries.

Actor Imran Abbas has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador by Turkey from Pakistan for a humanitarian campaign in African countries.

He took to social media to share the latest news with his fans and followers. He will be accompanying several Turkish actors on the campaign.

“Honoured to be selected by the Government of Turkey and its Ministry of Religious Affairs (Dayaanat) as the goodwill ambassador from Pakistan to visit this week, to Tanzania and many African countries along with leading Turkish actors to provide water, food, education, and other basic needs of life to the people of those countries, alongside presenting the gift of thousands of Quran e Pak to the Muslims as well. Alhamdolillah!!” he posted.

He captioned the post, “Alhamdolillah!! #turkey #pakistan #goodwillambassador”.

The announcement comes days after Imran Abbas’s visit to Turkey. In an interview with a Pakistani media outlet, he said that he cannot disclose the name of other Turkish stars as of yet. He added that Turkey is distributing basic amenities among the impoverished people in African countries as an act of charity in Ramzan.

Imran Abbas said that he will fly to Tanzania in a chartered plane along with other actors and will give Holy Quran, food, water, shelter, and education to people.

Earlier, Imran Abbas was spotted making several trips to Turkey. A video of Pakistani star Imran Abbas and Ertugrul actor Celal Al singing ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ in carpool karaoke had also gone viral on social media in March.

Abbas was on a visit to Turkey and had met Celal Al who played Alp Abdur Rehman in a popular Turkish serial, Dirilis Ertugrul. Imran Abbas shared the video on his official Instagram account with a caption: “May this brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkey stays forever.”

Celal Al also posted pictures with Imran Abbas on his Instagram account. In another post, he welcomed Abbas to a brother country, Turkey.

Earlier, Abbas had met Cem Ucan aka Aliyar Bey from Dirilis Ertugrul in one of his previous visits to Turkey. The Turkish actor shared the picture with Pakistani actor, Imran Abbas on his Instagram account and expressed love for Pakistan.

“I will come to Pakistan as soon as possible to visit both Imran and you [fans], I love Pakistan,” wrote Ucan on Instagram. Both the actors got together for a game of pool upon Abbas’s visit to Turkey.
