Pakistan’s famous actor Imran Abbas has signed a British feature film titled ‘Trojan Horse’. Imran’s first project in Hollywood, where he is playing the role of a spy in the film of a Syrian-Moroccan descent.
The shooting of the film will begin in July and is expected to end in October. The film is going to be shot at multiple locations in Europe, UK, and Turkey.
Abbas while talking about his role in the film said, ‘I have many get-ups in the film and I will be seen in about six to seven disguises as I play the lead protagonist.’
Imran Abbas refused to reveal details of his international project said that he cannot reveal much but the cast and crew are from Hollywood.
He mentioned that since international stars are very committed to the roles they sign for he can’t confirm who his co-stars are. He assured to share the details of his project next month.
When asked about his presence in Pakistan and whether will he be seen less on Pakistan’s screen, the actor said, ‘Of course, not! Even when I was working in Bollywood, I did not forget my Pakistani roots. I’ve reached heights because of the local dramas that I’ve worked in.’
“I will be taking a break from local productions but I will return after my gap as international projects require immense dedication and commitment,” he added further.
Imran Abbas already made his Bollywood in 2014. He starred in the movie ‘Creature 3D’ opposite Bipasha Basu and made a guest appearance in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
Recently, rumors were afloat that another Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has signed her first Hollywood project opposite Ben Affleck. The actress, however, is yet to confirm or deny the rumors.
Saba Qamar made her Bollywood debut with ‘Hindi Medium’ in 2017. The actress garnered massive appreciation from the Indian film fraternity for her spectacular performance.
