The reviews are afloat after the conclusion of the first show. The movie on its first day has garnered mixed reviews from the critics. The performances of lead actors in their unique roles have been appreciated but critics suggest the plot of the second half of the movie largely failed to connect the dots.

Some social media users lauded and highly recommended watching the movie.

However, to some, it was a mere disappointment.

The first half of the movie revolves around the search of Buaa (Shah Rukh Khan) for his life partner. He, somehow, bumps into Anushka Sharma. Despite having their personalities standing a world apart, their physical challenges give them a common ground to start a relationship. Buaa soon fell in love with Anushka Sharma.

At this moment, Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif) a famous celebrity and a heartbroken actress steps into the life of Buaa. Both the ladies help Buaa to ascertain the destiny of his life. Their life story starts from Mumbai and takes them to the USA and even into outer space in Mars.

Shah Rukh Khan has perfectly aced the sizzling romantic scenes in the movie being a high-spirit man whose short-height never dampens his courage and confidence.

Anushka Sharma, who has starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in various movies shared a heartfelt message for Khan on Twitter to commemorate her decade-long journey in Bollywood that coincided with the release of ‘Zero’- fourth film Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma featuring together.

Interestingly, Anushka Sharma shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in her debut movie ‘Rab ne Bana Jodi’.

Although, trade pundits have claimed that Zero would break the record as the highest opening film of 2018, whether it remains short-lived as Thug of Hindostan or sustains its glory cannot be predicted given the viewers’ mixed reaction today.
