Why Imran Khan will be missed?

There is a famous saying that man's greatness can be measured by his enemy and history will testify that in this fight for Pakistan's sovereignty, khan has exposed the corrupt and rotten system of this country. In a short span of time, Khan not only launched thousands of projects for the welfare of the people but also restored Pakistan's sovereignty and honor internationally.

The night between 9th and 10th April was the darkest night of Pakistan’s history when an elected government was overthrown by external pressure and internal help. At a time when attempts were being made to oust the Prime Minister of the country, millions of Pakistanis were expressing confidence in Imran Khan’s government on social media platforms. The Prime Minister of the people fought against imperialism till the last moment but when all the doors were closed, Khan decided to go to the court of the people of Pakistan. For the first time in the history of the country, the government was overthrown by a no-confidence motion against the wishes of the people.
During his rule, Imran Khan not only restored the confidence of Pakistanis abroad but also for the first time in history, Pakistan recorded a record run of above $2b in remittances for 10 consecutive months. But a few hours after the ouster of Imran Khanʼs elected government, overseas Pakistanis withdrew 2 billion U.S dollars from their Roshan Digital Accounts. Similarly, Pakistanis around the world have expressed outrage at the decision.  Like the rest of the country, Pakistanis in different cities of the world staged peaceful demonstrations in favor of Imran Khan.

The tragic story does not end here

Corrupt politicians who have ruled the country for 30 years have reunited and the story of fake promises is being repeated. The misfortune of this country is that a person who is accused of corruption and money laundering and is currently out on bail is being made the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. An ordinary Pakistani cannot hold a government post if on bail, but the law is completely different for the upcoming Prime Minister of the country.
There is a famous saying that man’s greatness can be measured by his enemy and history will testify that in this fight for Pakistan’s sovereignty, khan has exposed the corrupt and rotten system of this country. In a short span of time, Khan not only launched thousands of projects for the welfare of the people but also restored Pakistan’s sovereignty and honor internationally.

Pakistan faces one of the worst political crises of its history

And the time has come for all parties to come out of the chaos by announcing general elections in the larger interest of the nation. While Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has emerged as the most popular party in the country at the moment, the opposition is not yet ready for general elections due to its declining popularity.
Observers believe that the opposition intends to introduce electoral reforms of their own accord before the elections by depriving Pakistanis abroad of their right to vote. On the other hand, most opposition leaders also face serious allegations of corruption. In all these circumstances, it seems difficult for a coalition government of 12 political parties to function for long.
