Twitter defends Naseem Shah after he struggle to spell ‘Lenovo’

Some Pakistani users said that it does not matter if Naseem Shah cannot spell or pronounce the word in English correctly; they are more concerned with his performance.

Pakistani Twitters defended pacer Naseem Shah who misspelled the word ‘Lenovo’ in one of the old videos shared by an Indian Twitter user.

The video shows the cricketer was shot during the PSL days; he is seen wearing the jersey of the PSL franchise Quetta Gladiator. It was a PR video made by the franchise. The video showed cricketers- Muhammad Nawaz and Naseem Shah being asked about ‘Lenovo’. Muhammad Nawaz answered it correctly, but Naseem Shah struggled to pronounce and spell the word.

The Indian Twitter mocks the 19-year-old cricketer on Twitter. Soon Pakistani cricket fans rallied in defense of the Pakistani cricketer and reminded him how brutally Naseem Shah picked wickets against India in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022 match. Twitter users reminded the Indian user that Indian batters could not play Naseem Shah in the Asia Cup 2022.

Some Pakistani users said that it does not matter if Naseem Shah cannot spell or pronounce the word in English correctly; they are more concerned with his performance. For them, he is the superstar of Pakistan and an emerging player. Pakistan will always support his cricket hero.

Sports commentator added that ‘Lenovo’ is not a household name in Pakistan. The young pacer is not tech-friendly. Naseem Shah belongs to the Dir and has spent most of his life in a village. Only his performance matters for Pakistan.

On the other hand, Naseem Shah has become a household name in Pakistan following his magnificent performance in the Asia Cup 2022. The cricketer has announced to auction the bat from which he hit two consecutive sixes in Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022 taking Pakistan into the final of the tournament. Interestingly, the cricketer made his T20I debut in the first match against India in Asia Cup 2022.
