Qatar displays Hadiths of Holy Prophet ahead of FIFA World Cup

Besides hosting the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup, Qatar is also availing the opportunity to introduce the world to its customs, tradition, culture, and values.

Qatar government displayed murals of Hadiths of Holy Prophet in a bid to introduce the incoming fans, from all over the world, to Islam.

Besides hosting the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup, Qatar is also availing the opportunity to introduce the world to its customs, tradition, culture, and values.

Murals carry sayings of the Holy Prophet on mercy, charity, and good deeds. These have been placed all over the streets in Qatar. “Every good deed is a charity”, “He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully”, and “Guard yourself against the Hellfire, even with half of a date in charity. If one cannot find it, then with a kind word” were some of the Prophetic hadiths shared. Pictures of the murals are going viral on social media.

FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin from November 20th till December 18th. This will be the first FIFA World Cup hosted in the Middle East. Last month Qatar hosted Street Child FIFA World Cup 2022. 28 teams representing 25 countries participated in the tournament. 13 girls teams and 15 boys teams participated in the event representing refugees and displaced children.

Co-founder and CEO of Street Children United, John Wroe said the event was organized to make these children feel loved.

“This is the World Cup for those that have faced stigma. We say to you, ‘you are loved.’ For those who are constantly denied access or shooed away or even rounded up, we say, ‘come to the front of the queue.’ You are important,” Wroe said.
