Ali Amin Gandapur confirms his leaked audio is real

Reacting to the audio clip, Ali Amin Gandapur took to Twitter to confirm the audio is real and has not been tampered with. He also questioned who is leaking the audios.

PTI leader and former Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has confirmed that the recently leaked audio featuring him and an official is indeed real. He has, however, raised questions on the breach of privacy.

Earlier, an audio clip surfaced on social media where former federal minister Ali Amin Gandapur can be heard starting a telephonic conversation with a person named Imtiaz and demanding his share of the funds.

Reacting to the audio clip, Ali Amin Gandapur took to Twitter to confirm the audio is real and has not been tampered with. He also questioned who is leaking the audios.

“My audio leak with the concerned P&D official about releases of my ongoing developmental schemes to the government official is real, not fake or tampered. But who is leaking and monitoring our privacy and also with fake audio and videos, playing the dirty games (shame on them),” Ali Amin Gandapur said.

The audio clip, which went viral on social media, showed Ali Amin directing Imtiaz to send Rs160 million in cash for him and KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. In the alleged tape, Imtiaz told the minister about difficulties due to regime change and said he sent Rs160 million to him previously and another Rs160 million is being sent for him only.

This is not the first time that Ali Amin Gandapur has been the target of released audios. Back in October, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, during a press conference, released an alleged audio leak of PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur and an unknown man. In the purported audio, the PTI leader can speak about bringing ammunition for the long march.

By releasing the audio clip, Rana Sanaullah claimed that PTI was busy gathering men and arms at the borders of the twin cities and planning bloodshed by pitting people against the law enforcement agencies (LEAs). This was when PTI was planning its long march.
