According to sources, TTP will declare a countrywide truce. However, the truce will come into effect once Pakistan releases some TTP foot soldiers as part of confidence-building measures. Currently, the parties agreed to a month-long truce which will later extend.

The screening test for Central Superior Service (CSS) Competitive Exam (CE) 2022 would be held in February next year. Addressing a press conference with Chairman FPSC, Shehzad Arbab stated that the screening test will help filter out serious candidates for future CSS exams.
