A few months back it seemed that the couple after going through rough patch would part ways. Their relationship, however, took another leap and the couple now are often seen in public expressing their fondness for each other.
The couple already has manifested sizzling chemistry onscreen in ‘Ram Leela’,’Bajirao Mastani’ and will be seen next in ‘Padmavat’.
The couple was spotted in the Maldives recently. Sources say that the couple was there to celebrate New Year.
While their upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’ is surrounded by controversies, the couple took time off to spend vacations together in the Maldives.

It is reported that their families joined them on this holiday. A close source states that Deepika received some pricey gifts from Ranveer’s family. She is said to have received an expensive sari and a diamond set from Ranveer’s parents.
Many sources quote that the couple instead of Malaysia secretly flew to Sri Lanka, and had their engagement on January 5th, 2018 on Deepika Padukone’s birthday.
Ranveer was also spotted spending time with Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone last month. They both were present at the inaugural ceremony of Padukone-Dravid Center of Sports Excellence in Bengaluru.
Ranveer also took Deepika home to meet his grandmother. Latest media report suggests that both Deepika and Ranveer have invested in a property together in Goa, India.
