According to media sources, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan was unable to hold a formal meeting with PM Khan at the Governor House in Punjab.
As per media reports, Dr. Ashiq Awan kept waiting for the PM at the waiting room of Governor House in Punjab to hold a formal talk with him. However, when PM Khan entered the room, she tried to meet him, but security personnel stopped her.
Nevertheless, Dr. Ashiq Awan still managed to meet PM Khan as he headed towards a helicopter leaving the Governor House.

While talking to PM Khan, she complained, “What is all this that happened to me in Punjab?”
As per media sources, PM Khan responded with, “You must know better, I had already sent you with great difficulty.”
Media reports are claiming that PM Khan did not address Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan’s concerns in an elaborate manner.
However, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan downplayed the meeting by stating that reports of her being snubbed by PM Khan are false. Instead, she said the meeting with the Prime Minister took place in a pleasant atmosphere at Governor House.
“Some mischievous elements aren’t able to digest my meeting with the PM,” she said. “Hence, they are disseminating false and baseless propaganda.”

Firdous Ashiq Awan losing popularity?
Earlier on Monday, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan was not allowed to enter the Punjab Assembly for the oath-taking ceremony of Ahsan Saleem. A video circulated on social media showing security personnel barring her from entering.

The staff said she could not enter as her name was not on the guest list.
While talking to the media over the issue, Punjab Assembly Secretariat said her name was initially on the list. However, it was later removed.
Recently, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan resigned as special assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on the information. She resigned after serving for less than a year at the capacity.
She submitted her resignation, directly to CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, who duly accepted the resignation. In her resignation, she cited “unavoidable personal grounds.” However, sources in the chief minister’s house, claimed that CM Usman Buzdar wanted Awan to resign as he was not comfortable with her serving as the special assistant.
