According to media sources, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan was unable to hold a formal meeting with PM Khan at the Governor House in Punjab.
As per media reports, Dr. Ashiq Awan kept waiting for the PM at the waiting room of Governor House in Punjab to hold a formal talk with him. However, when PM Khan entered the room, she tried to meet him, but security personnel stopped her.
Nevertheless, Dr. Ashiq Awan still managed to meet PM Khan as he headed towards a helicopter leaving the Governor House.
While talking to PM Khan, she complained, “What is all this that happened to me in Punjab?”
As per media sources, PM Khan responded with, “You must know better, I had already sent you with great difficulty.”
Media reports are claiming that PM Khan did not address Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan’s concerns in an elaborate manner.
However, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan downplayed the meeting by stating that reports of her being snubbed by PM Khan are false. Instead, she said the meeting with the Prime Minister took place in a pleasant atmosphere at Governor House.
“Some mischievous elements aren’t able to digest my meeting with the PM,” she said. “Hence, they are disseminating false and baseless propaganda.”
