Last week, Elon Musk informed us that the last date for subscribing to legacy blue tick is April 21. Those who have not subscribed will lose the legacy blue tick.  Almost all the Pakistani cricketers have lost their blue tick.

Earlier, the deadline had been April 1 but it was extended to April 21. International celebrities including Bill Gates, Pope Francis, and Kim Kardashian lost their blue tick verification. Blue tick verification was originally introduced to stop people from impersonating the accounts of important figures and celebrities.

International human rights organizations Human Rights Watch and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People also lost their checkmarks. Many international organizations have tweeted that they will not subscribe to Twitter Blue.

The change in the policy of Twitter caused chaos globally with government accounts, celebrities, and international organizations struggling hard to maintain their credibility and authenticity.
