India uses Diversionary theory of War against Pakistan

News Desk |

Diversionary theory of war is the contention that leaders initiate conflict abroad as a way of increasing national cohesion at home by diverting national public opinion away from controversial domestic issues. India has used this theory from day one to unite different groups in India; a myriad number of examples of using this theory are found in the history of Pakistan and India.

Dr. Moeed Pirzada, while talking to the anchorperson Ms. Neelum Aslam from Hague via satellite told that the Indian top leadership wants to brighten their political career by associating Pulwama attack and other issues with Pakistan. Through this issue, India wants to unite different extremist groups in India.

These statements were made while talking to Neelum Aslam of GNN TV in Dr. Moeed Pirzada’s Prime-time Show “Live with Moeed Pirzada.”

“India cannot digest the successes of Pakistan in the world, Pakistan has today defeated India in Kulbhushan case in the ICJ, they are getting exposed to the world,” said Air Marshal Shahid Latif.

Attorney General of Pakistan Anwar Mansoor Khan and Khawar Qureshi on Tuesday, 19th February, defended the stance of Pakistan about Kulbhushan Jadhav. They argued that Jadhav was an Indian spy sent to Baluchistan to destabilize the country by carrying out despicable terrorism and suicide bombings. India is very near to losing this case of Kulbhushan in the ICJ, which will be another setback for India.

On Tuesday the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan also gave their messages to India, these messages affirmed that Pakistan is a sovereign, independent, peace-loving and above all, a country capable of its defense.

Defense analyst Air Marshal (r) Shahid Latif was another discussant of the program, he maintained that India uses a “too known and predictable pattern and an old formula” to diverge their public attention towards Pakistan before elections. “India cannot digest the successes of Pakistan in the world, Pakistan has today defeated India in Kulbhushan case in the ICJ, they are getting exposed to the world,” said Air Marshal Shahid Latif.

Ikram Sehgal, the prominent defense analyst, was participating in this debate and he told that the rising of Priyanka, a BJP top leader, in the UP has disturbed Modi’s political position in many parts of India. Modi is using old tactics to brighten his politics in the Hindu dominated regions.

He uses the Hindu Belt of India against his hybrid war against Pakistan. “Indian people hate Pakistan, its songs and its stars in the international forums but our phone companies are not feeling shy while using Indian songs for packages,” says Sehgal. He further added that he has no habit to listen to the nonsense that is why he avoids watching Indian TV.
