That’s right, Fukrey is back with a bang and due to be released on December 15th. ‘Fukrey Returns’ is the sequel to the 2013 super hit comedy film Fukrey.
Fukrey Returns has managed to create a lot of excitement amongst the fans of the Fukrey franchise. It again promises to be one of the most entertaining films of the year and has us falling off our chairs.
It looks like one hell of a ride. The movie is filled with humour, misadventures and of course the amusing banter between ‘Choocha’ and ‘Bholi Punjaban’, two of the main characters from the film.
The beautifully edited teaser refreshes viewers’ memories of the first instalment and hints at exciting storylines for this hugely anticipated sequel.
Fukrey was able to generate a total net gross of over 800 million Indian rupees. With the kind of response, trailers have generated, this latest comedy is also expected to generate big numbers at the box office.
Despite the release of two blockbusters in December –Padmavati (released 1st December) and Tiger Zinda Hai (releasing 22nd December), before and after its release, Fukrey has the brand value, quality material and power to pull the audience to the movie theatres.

The new instalment in this franchise also features Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Manoj Singh. The sequel has been directed by Mrighdeep Sing Lamba and is produced by the Excel Entertainments-Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The massive response to its first instalment makes it one of the highly anticipated movies of the year.
