Toyota IMC records highest ever sales in March 2022

With 25 years of excellence in manufacturing and marketing Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has experienced immense growth. The current sales are the highest since the company started in 1993.

Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has set a new monthly record, selling 7,132 units in March 2022 breaking its previous record of October 2021 when it sold 7,001 vehicles. This is the third time within 8 months that Toyota has set a monthly sales record, which is an impressive feat.

With 25 years of excellence in manufacturing and marketing Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has experienced immense growth. The current sales are the highest since the company started in 1993, for which the company has thanked its loyal customers for their support.

Furthermore, with increasing customer demand over the years, the company has made huge investments to enhance its capacity in order to meet the customers’ requirements for new products. Toyota Corolla being one of the leading automotive industries in Asia is one of the largest selling brands in Pakistan.

Sales to take a hit soon?

The company has a huge market in the country and attracts a larger audience due to its fast delivery times compared to other automotive companies. According to the statistics, Toyota Yaris has a delivery time of two months compared to Honda City’s four months of delivery time.

In addition to this, the company also invests largely in training and empowering high-performing teams in order to keep up with the quality standards. The company emphasizes high standards of business ethics and the safety of employees and customers.

Despite the high sales, the company might face a price hike due to global logistical challenges, increasing freight costs, and depreciation of the local currency. As the rupee continues to decline against the US Dollar, imported raw materials have become more expensive for the manufacturers. As a result, the company might experience a slight decrease in sales of about 15% in the next two years.
