Asad Umar urges followers to support PM Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s former finance minister Asad Umar has encouraged the followers of the party to continue to support Prime Minister Imran Khan in his mission as they are his real strength. He expressed his thoughts in a tweet posted on Saturday, April 20.

Asad Umar’s Note of Thanks to Followers

He also thanked people for the outpouring of love and warm wishes for him ever since he stepped down from his post two days ago on Thursday. Asad Umar also asked people to continue to believe in the ideology of Tehreek-e-Insaf and maintain support for the party.

“Want to thank the many many people who expressed support over the last 2 days. It is the millions of selfless, ideological, passionate supporters who are guardians of the ideology of the tehreek. It’s your passion from which Imran Khan & his team draw energy. May Allah bless you all,” wrote Asad Umar.

A lot of people on Twitter expressed their displeasure over Imran Khan’s decision to replace Asad Umar as finance minister of Pakistan. People deplored the decision, while many stated they have been utterly disappointed by PM Khan’s decision. Some said they will stop supporting the party in protest.

Asad Umar, however, in his press conference on Thursday reiterated his support for Imran Khan and said he will continue to serve the country and the party as Member of the National Assembly. He gave the same message to his people as well in his tweet today, calming his upset followers.

Outpouring of Support Continues on Social Media

People have again showered immense respect and love on today’s Twitter message.

One user wrote: “Just because you couldn’t play the winning shot doesn’t mean we will forget your 4s & 6s that were crucial to chase the target. Welcoming you back to Pavilion with utmost respect and gratitude. And now that we’ll see you in Khi often, hope to meet you soon IA :)”

While others requested him to take charge of other ministry offered since they want to see him in the cabinet.

“Please take the charge of another department, we all want to see you in Cabinet. Its all about Naya Pakistan, it is our passion and you can deliver the best of your abilities to make it happen. For the sake of people who loves you,” wrote a user.
