Bakhtawar Bhutto shares post wedding pictures with Mahmood Chaudhry

Bakhtawar Bhutto shared post-wedding pictures with her husband, Mahmood Chaudhry, on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

The pictures showed the newly-wed couple touring Garhi Khuda Bux and also visiting the family burial site of the Bhutto family. One of the pictures showed Bakhtawar Bhutto driving to her hometown, Garhi Khuda Bux while her husband Mahmood Chaudhry was seen sitting beside her.

The couple also lay a wreath on the grave of former Pakistani premier, Benazir Bhutto. In another picture, Chaudhry could be seen reciting Holy Quran. The couple was seen having a good time together.

The couple tied the knot in January last week. Bhutto looked radiantly beautiful at her Nikkah ceremony. She tied the knot with her fiancé, Mahmood Chaudhry, in an intimate ceremony on Friday. The bride was accompanied by brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari – chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party.

Bhutto shared an emotional message on Bakhtawar’s wedding on social media. “Happiest moment in many years to see my sister Bakhtawar getting married.”

“Felt like our mother was watching over us in this moment of joy. Wishing them both all the best for their new life together,” wrote Bhutto in his message. He also shares a few pictures from the ceremony on his social media. Whereas the youngest sibling, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, also expressed best wishes to the couple. Aseefa wished the couple, “a lifetime of happiness and joy” on their new journey.

“I love you, my dear sister. I wish you a happy married life,” she wrote.

Wedding pictures released on social media showed the groom wearing a cream-colored sherwani. Bilawal Bhutto, on the other hand, matched his white shalwar kameez with a brown blazer. The pictures showed the father and former president Asif Ali Zardari was also present at the Nikkah ceremony.

Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and her fiancé, Mahmood Chaudhry, exchanged rings in November last year.
