This is rather an interesting development as several PTI MNAs are siding with the Opposition for the no-trust move. Meanwhile, the PTI served show-cause notices to the dissident MNAs, asking them to either apologize to PM Khan or resign.

The government on Monday filed the reference for the interpretation of Article 63A in the Supreme Court. President Alvi gave the approval to file the reference which comes amid the reports of defection of some of the members of the Parliament.

Earlier today, PTI served show-cause notices to 14 of its MNAs for joining hands with the Opposition. Reacting to the show-cause notice, Maryam Nawaz called the prime minister a "burden" that no one can bear anymore. 

The show-cause notice demands MNAs to submit an unconditional apology and rejoin the party ranks within seven days. Failing to do so will result in legal action against them. However, if the MNAs wish to leave the party, then they must resign.

Islamabad's political heat continues to intensify over the no-confidence motion that will decide PM Khan's fate. Furthermore, both sides announced political rallies, adding to fears of violence in Islamabad.

The PTI government claimed that the Opposition "bought out" several PTI MNAs who resolutely maintain that they did not accept any money from the Opposition. Taking note of this, Nusrat Wahid said she knows for a fact the Opposition offered them money.

Noor Alam Khan is amongst the group of dissident PTI MNAs who broke ranks from PTI and moved to the Sindh House. As a result, PTI leaders and activists have been charged against him. Furthermore, Noor Alam Khan claimed that he also received death threats.

PTI MNAs staying in Sindh House have come under heavy fire both from the PTI government as well as their voters. Regarding this, Sheikh Rashid appealed to the disgruntled PTI MNAs to return to the party.

During his trip to Germany, General Nadeem Raza met with the German Chief of the Defence Forces. The military leaders discussed matters of bilateral interest, including further strengthening of defence cooperation.
