General Nadeem Raza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) received a guard of honor in Germany. General Nadeem Raza, who is on an official visit to Germany and Switzerland, also called on General Eberhard Zorn, Chief of the Defence Forces, Germany.
According to details, the military leaders discussed matters of bilateral professional interest, including further strengthening of security and defense cooperation between Pakistan and Germany. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to work together for peace, security, and stability in the region, particularly in Afghanistan.
Chairman JCSC, during his visit to Germany, also visited the German Infantry School at Hammelburg and the Center for Internal Leadership at Koblenz where he received a briefing on the mandate and curriculum of the institutes.

Earlier, upon arrival at the German Ministry of Defence, a smartly turned-out contingent presented ‘Guard of Honour’ to the Chairman JCSC.
Gen. Nadeem visits Geneva Center for Security Policy
Later, General Nadeem Raza visited Switzerland where he called on Lieutenant General Thomas Sussli, Chief of Swiss Armed Forces. Chairman JCSC reviewed the full gamut of bilateral defense relations. He exchanged views on the global and regional security environment and enhanced military and defense cooperation between the two Armed Forces.

Chairman JCSC also visited Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP). To clarify, GCSP is an international foundation that provides executive education and training in comprehensive international peace and security policy.
The Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan and Afghanistan Benedict de Cerjat welcomed closer cooperation between Pakistan and GCSP. Taking to Twitter, he wrote that Lt. Gen Sussli was pleased to host General Nadeem.

During the visit to the center, General Nadeem Raza highlighted the security perspective of Pakistan on the geostrategic situation of the region with an emphasis on Afghanistan. The General emphasized the need for reconciliation within Afghanistan for regional peace and security.
