Does Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ feature Indo-Pak partition?

Ali Abbas Zafar the director of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Bharat’ shared the pictures of India-Pakistan border on his social media account while he was on the recce of the site for the shooting of the film. The mileage board showed India-Pakistan border just 2km away, Lahore 24 km, and Islamabad 322 km away from the location.

The recent picture shared by Zafar hints the film has Pakistan as a subject in it. The film also marks the comeback of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as she was previously occupied with her Hollywood projects.

Bharat is an official adaption of a Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’ released in 2014. The movie was a story of a boy who got separated from his family during the Korean war and how he reunites with them. The Hindi adaption of the movie suggests it is set in the times of Indo-Pak partition. Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri is producing the film

Fans and followers of Bollywood Diva are eagerly waiting to see her comeback on the screen. Priyanka Chopra informed that the shooting for the film will begin in August this year as the film is slated to release in June 2019, on Eid.

Ali Abbas Zafar said the role of Priyanka Chopra is central to the film as she stands shoulder to shoulder in Salman Khan’s journey. He further mentioned she will be the catalyst that will trigger the turning point in the story plot.

Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra were last seen together in the movie ‘God Tussi Great Ho’. The duo Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar has recently produced a blockbuster movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ that is the highest-grossing film in the entire career of Salman Khan. Salman Khan has recently concluded the shooting of his highly-anticipated movie ‘Race 3’ due to release in June 2018.
