According to a recent statement issued by PCB Chairman, Ramiz Raja, the profit earned by HBL PSL 7 is up to 71%. Raja says, each franchise earned Rs.90 crores- the highest-ever earned profits in the history of the Pakistan Super League.
Moreover, the seventh installment of HBL PSL 7 saw a 200% increase in sponsorships and broadcasting rights. Sponsorship categories were upgraded with brands partnership rights. These were then divided into two categories. Also, the broadcasting and live-streaming rights supported the revenue uptick.
Talking about the recently concluded HBL PSL 7 Ramiz Raja said: “There’s no doubt PSL 7 has been a phenomenal success & this is largely due to the amazing crowds in Karachi & Lahore. In my professional career, I’ve never seen such charged up, overwhelming, enthusiastic, lively, and supportive crowds, particularly in Lahore.”
