Heroics of Aamer Jamal saves the day for Pakistan in 3rd Test

He batted at no.9 and stunned spectators with his brave performance at tail end. Aamer received strong support from his fellow fast bowler, Mir Hamza, during their partnership for the last wicket.

Pace-all-rounder Aamer Jamal stole the show with his heroic innings of 82 runs giving a decent end to the Pakistani innings in the third Test match against Australia.

The batting line of Pakistan collapsed against the Australian bowling attack in Sydney. Both the opener debutant Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique returned to the pavilion on 0. Meanwhile, Babar Azam once again failed to score big on the occasion.

Amid the crisis, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha and surprisingly Aamer Jamal stepped up to help Pakistan cross the 300 mark. Aamer Jamal not only scored his maiden Test century but he also scored formidable 82 runs.

The pacer is receiving praise for his heroics from Pakistani cricket fans and commentators for playing a much-needed innings.

Aamer received strong support from his fellow fast bowler, Mir Hamza, during their partnership for the last wicket. Mir Hamza contributed 7 runs from 43 deliveries in the stand of 86 runs. Aamer showcased his batting skills by hitting four sixes and nine boundaries during the partnership.

In the series, Australia’s bowling consistently controlled Pakistan’s batting lineup. However, during a match in favorable conditions, Rizwan and Salman Agha stood out by forming a strong 94-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Rizwan had shown courage in the Boxing Day Test, scoring 42 and 35. In that match, he briefly raised hopes for Pakistan to chase 317 runs but got out late on day four after a short delivery from Cummins flicked his wristband.

The Sydney Test is the third and final match of the Test series. Pakistan has already lost two matches in the series. The players are looking to secure victory in the third Test.
