Imran Khan: Pakistan’s next PM is the world’s 7th most followed leader on Twitter

Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf’s leader Imran Khan has become the world 7th most followed leader on Twitter. Imran Khan is the prime minister-in-waiting and has garnered 8.17 million followers on Twitter. Khan is an active political leader from Pakistan.

He has recorded more followers on social media than Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French Prime Minister Emanuel Macroon, and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They have been placed at 8th, 9th, and 10th spot respectively after Imran Khan.

US President Donald Trump has topped the list with 53.5 million followers. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi followed him to the list with 43.3 million followers. Pope Francis has the third spot with 17.7 million followers. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on the fourth spot with 13.1 million followers.

Queen Rania of Jordan has indeed proved herself an iconic female leader of the Muslim world. She has beaten the western female political leaders in terms of popularity. A highly active politician, she has garnered 10.3 million followers on social media.

Imran Khan’s party Tehreek-I-Insaf has secured 115 National Assembly seats and hence has emerged as the leading political party of the leader. Imran Khan is expected to take oath on August 11th, 2018. Imran Khan has received appreciation from popular celebrities and figures around the world. He is anticipated to be a popular leader like Zulfikar Bhutto.
