Martin Kobler in awe of Skardu’s beauty

German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler has appreciated the immense potential for tourism, Skardu holds for Pakistan. In a message shared on Twitter on Sunday, 31st March Kobler posted his pictures of his recent trip to Skardu.

Kobler mentioned that with the mesmerising landscape and snow-covered mountain peaks, Skardu is a place in upper North of Pakistan that offers a peaceful and refreshing environment to its visitors. He also added that he would love to visit the place again and again.

Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Imran Khan has resolved to revamp the tourism sector in Pakistan. Hence efforts will be subjected to develop KP as the base camp.

“Skardu was Great!! Beauty, beauty & only beauty. Astounding landscapes!! only in #Pakistan. The peaceful fresh environment was just amazing. Huge potential for tourism! Would love to go again & again,” read his tweet.

Martin Kobler also shared the pictures of snow desert in Skardu and talked about his experience of winter camping in a place like Skardu that is known for freezing temperatures and mighty glaciers. Kobler on his camping trip also enjoyed the rare fresh trout fish.

While on his way to Skardu, he also appreciated the services of Pakistan International Airlines. Martin Kobler had boarded PIA to reach Skardu and seemed to be satisfied with the services and operations of Pakistan International Airlines. He was also elated to meet his Twitter followers on the way to Skardu.

The development of tourism sector in Pakistan is amongst the top priorities of the government of Tehreek-I-Insaf.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) has announced to establish Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the hub of tourism in the country. Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Imran Khan has resolved to revamp the tourism sector in Pakistan. Hence efforts will be subjected to develop KP as the base camp. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to its lush green beauty and splendid landscape has been the source of attraction for foreign tourists in Pakistan.
