Meanwhile, according to the latest figure, the deadly epidemic coronavirus has claimed 733 lives with at least 34,546 people infected. Mehwish Hayat’s solidarity for China aligns with Pakistan’s state-level assistance and support embattled China- a mainland of coronavirus.
China is repeatedly expressing gratitude to Pakistan for offering invaluable support at a time when it fears for international isolation and sanctions in the wake of the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus. In its latest statement, China has welcomed the confidence of Pakistan- ‘iron brother’ on them. Also, they hailed messages of Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi.
Meanwhile, Mehwish Hayat, who is among the socially woke celebrities, also spoke in favor of the National Assembly resolution passed yesterday calling for the death penalty and public hanging of the child rapists. She slammed the backlash on the NA resolution, reminding people that similar calls are made whenever a horrific incident of a sexual assault with a child is reported.
Strange when these rapes & murders of children are reported,we all call for the perpetrators 2 be hung in public. When the govt agrees we all begin 2 hide behind”human right violations". Unfortunate as it is,we need strong deterrents to stop this rot in society! #hangchildrapists

She upheld the bill and stipulated that certainly, extreme punishment will be a powerful deterrent to stop this rot in society. She chided people for hiding behind the pretense of ‘human rights violations’ when the government has eventually conceded to the calls to hang the perpetrators of the rape with children publicly.
