Players of the Pakistan Cricket Team are undergoing a rigorous physical training set at the Army School of Physical Training at Kakul, Abbottabad.

With the T20 World Cup just a few months away, PCB has cranked up the physical training of the players to make them physically fit for the tournament. The training camp has been set from March 28th, 2024 till April 9th, 2024.

The entire Pakistan squad is taking part in the camp. Trainers at the camp work tirelessly with the players while engaging them in different physical activities.

This is not the first time the Pakistan Cricket Team has visited the training camp set at Kakul. Back in 2016, a similar camp was set up, just before Pakistan’s tour to England. After winning the test match, the Pakistani players paid tribute to Pakistan Army instructors with push-ups on the field.

Players who are taking part in the camp are Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Haseebullah, Saud Shakeel, Usman Khan, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, and Azam Khan.

The camp, in partnership with the Pakistan Army, aims to ready players for upcoming events such as the home T20I series against New Zealand, away T20I series against Ireland and England, and the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

Players at the training camp are sharing their videos on social media regarding their time in the training camp.
