Recent events in Palestine have once again brought to light the ongoing attacks being carried out by Israel against the Palestinians. The Israeli forces recently stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, one of the holiest sites in Islam, during the holy month of Ramadan. The attack on worshippers caused chaos and panic, with tear gas and stun grenades being fired by the Israeli forces.

The violent attack was met with condemnation from the Muslim world and beyond. Israel also launched a series of airstrikes on Gaza, claiming that they were in response to rocket attacks from the area. The airstrikes resulted in the deaths of dozens of people, including women and children. Moreover, Israeli forces launched an operation in the village of Bil’in in the West Bank, targeting what they claimed were “suspected terrorists.” During the operation, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a 17-year-old Palestinian boy, identified as Mohamed Hamayel. Two other Palestinians were also injured in the incident.

While the international community has condemned the attacks, Israel has used media outlets to demonize the worshippers and justify the violence, claiming that the worshippers were provoking violence and attacking the police. However, eyewitness accounts and video footage circulating on social media suggest that it is the Israeli forces who were the aggressors, firing rubber bullets and stun grenades at peaceful worshippers. Palestinians have been suffering from ethnic cleansing for several decades, and now, due to the presence of social media, the world is witnessing Israeli brutality with its own eyes.

The ongoing attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers have been increasing. These settlers, who are allowed to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound freely, have been attacking children and Palestinian homes, with the aim of eroding their presence in Jerusalem. The world has called for an end to these illegal settlements and the attacks on Palestinians, but Israel continues to violate international law.

It is important to note that the US, which provides significant military and financial aid to Israel, also bears responsibility for this violence. The US has consistently supported Israel, ignoring the human rights violations committed against Palestinians. The ongoing conflict has resulted in the displacement of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, with many being forced to flee to neighboring countries. The international community must hold Israel accountable for its abuses and take immediate action to protect the lives and rights of Palestinians.

The recent violence in Palestine is a result of Israel’s continued disregard for international law and human rights. The attacks on worshippers during Ramadan and the ongoing attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers are just a small part of the larger issue of ethnic cleansing. It is crucial for the international community to take immediate action to put an end to these atrocities and hold Israel accountable for its actions.
