PTI ridicules Bilawal for small crowd in Malakand rally

Wednesday, PPP Chairman Bilawal held a rally at Malakand, KPK. However, according to videos on social media, a small crowd attended the rally despite it being a public holiday in honor of March 23rd as Pakistan Day.

PTI Ministers ridiculed Bilawal Bhutto for the small crowd that attended PPP’s Malakand rally. Taking to Twitter, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said the Opposition cannot compete with Imran Khan in rallies.

Both the Opposition and the ruling PTI have been holding public rallies across Pakistan, locking horns over the no-confidence motion. Wednesday, PPP Chairman Bilawal held a rally at Malakand, KPK.

However, according to videos on social media, a small crowd attended the rally despite it being a public holiday in honor of March 23rd as Pakistan Day.

Needless to say, PTI Ministers took note of this and ridiculed Bilawal Bhutto for a “poor show.”

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry mocked Bilawal for pretending that he was addressing a large public gathering in Malakand.

“Usually, candidates running for the provincial assembly seats can pull more crowd than what Bilalwal did today. [He is] talking as if millions of people are listening to the speech. How can the Opposition compete with Imran Khan in rallies?” Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.

Similarly, Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed thanked the people of Malakand for rejecting the PPP.

To clarify, the number of people attending a political rally represents the power of supporters. A large gathering means that a large number of people will support the party. Therefore, PTI Ministers are calling out Bilawal for the seemingly small crowd at the Malakand jalsa.

PM part of “scheme”

During his speech, Bilawal Bhutto lashed out at PM Khan and said the no-confidence motion against the premier was a test for Pakistan’s democracy. He also said that PM Khan was brought into power to “destroy Pakistan”.

“It was a scheme to send this man to ruin the economic and foreign policies,” Bilawal Bhutto said. Furthermore, Bilawal said that the government’s plan to “bow” down before the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was part of the “conspiracy” to weaken Pakistan.

Interestingly, the concept of a “conspiracy” is not new. Bilawal Bhutto accuses PM Khan of being part of a “scheme”. Meanwhile, PM Khan also claimed that there is an international conspiracy against him.
