PTI Sindh leader warns PTI members will go to jail

PTI MPA Sindh Dewan Sachal said the main fault lies within the PTI team. He said that PM Khan should first take action against "thieves within the party [PTI]". His strong words come as PTI leaders initiate a disqualification process against him.

PTI MPA Sindh Dewan Sachal warned that many PTI members will go to jail if the Opposition ousts the government. He made the strong claims while talking to the media.

Lashing out, Dewan Sachal said the main fault lies within the PTI team. He also accused PTI parliamentary leader Khurrum Sher Zaman of allegedly destroying PTI.

Dewan Sachal also turned his guns on the leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh. He said Haleem Adil Sheikh has forgotten the number of times he changed parties.

Claims against Dewan Sachal

Important to note, PTI MPA Sindh Dewan Sachal came under heavy fire by PTI members for allegedly voting for PPP’s Nisar Khuhro. Earlier, Nisar Khuhro won the Senate by-polls in Sindh after the seat fell vacant following Faisal Vawda’s disqualification.

Despite the announcement of boycotting the election for this Senate seat, PTI members of Sindh Assembly arrived to cast their votes. Among them were minority member Dewan Sachal and MPAs Karim Bakhsh Gabol, Shehryar Shar, and Aslam Abro.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also disclosed that four PTI MPAs had come on their own to vote for Khuhro.

As a result, Dewan Sachal received criticism for allegedly betraying PTI for PPP. In fact, PTI members in Sindh demanded the removal of their four MPAs who had voted in the Senate by-election.

Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, and PTI parliamentary leader in the assembly Khurram Sher Zaman announced that PTI will expel the MPAs from the party. PTI will also initiate legal proceedings for their disqualification under article 63-A of the constitution of Pakistan.
