Taylor Swift has officially joined the ranks of the world’s wealthiest individuals, alongside figures like Elon Musk and tech entrepreneurs.

Forbes released its World’s Billionaires List on Tuesday, recognizing the 34-year-old singer with a staggering net worth of $1.1 billion. Swift becomes the latest musician to achieve this milestone, following Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Jimmy Buffet. Notably, she is the first to reach billionaire status solely through her music career, without significant income from other ventures.

Swift’s ascent to billionaire status has been long anticipated, given her remarkable success across various aspects of her career, particularly her recent Eras tour, which has been a major contributing factor.

According to Forbes, Swift crossed the billionaire threshold in October, fueled by the immense success of her Eras tour, which grossed over $1 billion in its first 60 shows alone.

Approximately half of Swift’s fortune comes from music royalties and touring revenue, with an additional $500 million attributed to the increasing value of her music catalog. Her real estate holdings contribute approximately $125 million to her net worth.
