Tennis star Novak Djokovic and Australian cricketer Steve Smith stunned fans when they played cricket and Tennis on the court ahead of the Australian Open.
Video making rounds on social media both the athletes played each other’s game in a light-hearted exchange. Djokovic was left pretty impressed with the skills of Steve Smith. The tennis star acknowledged and applauded the cricketer’s endeavor with a humble bow.
Playing cricket later on, he skipped the first ball but managed to send the ball into the stand, not with the bat, but with his Tennis racket.
Following the takeover of bowling duties by Jackson Warne, the son of the legendary spin maestro Shane Warne, Novak Djokovic assumed the challenge.
With his first shot, Djokovic impressively dispatched the ball into the stands, earning a “six,” but faced difficulties in connecting with the next two deliveries. Subsequently, Djokovic reverted to his preferred tennis racket, much to the joy of the Melbourne Park audience. These light-hearted moments were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience at the court.
